This site is a tribute to David Godfrey, who was born in Dewsbury on April 28, 1939 and passed away peacefully at Willen Hospice in Milton Keynes on February 05, 2024. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
David was a family man and is survived by his wife of 34 years Brenda Godfrey, his five children and two grandchildren.
He was an Engineer throughout all his working years and a very proud Salvation Army Prison Chaplin at Woodhill in Milton Keynes during his retirement.
David was known for his Yorkshire dry sense of humour and he bought great joy to all those he met. He was also known for his sun gazing, holidaying and going on cruises in his latter years.
Davids legacy is one of love, kindness, commitment and being of service to others.
He is much loved and will always be remembered.
